Workforce Scheduling

Workforce planning transforms personnel from a hard-to-manage cost factor into a resource that is deployed in a cost-effective manner to meet demand.

What to Expect

We help you develop a workforce planning strategy that reliably aligns staffing needs with employee availability, qualifications, and regulatory requirements.

Where We Start

Rollout to additional planning areas

Workforce planning is to be implemented in other planning areas or at additional locations. Existing approaches are to be adopted for this purpose, while at the same time taking into account department-specific characteristics in a practical manner.

As part of our project support services, we help ASES administrators and key users successfully implement the rollout while building valuable ASES expertise within the team—in a pragmatic, professional, and practical manner.

Working through the PEP task list

In the day-to-day work of workforce scheduling, issues, questions, and ideas for improvement have accumulated. However, in everyday operations, there is often a lack of time or the necessary software expertise to address these issues systematically.

As part of our long-term support, we assist ASES administrators and key users during regular time slots in keeping the PEP up to date, resolving issues, implementing improvement requests in a way that aligns closely with day-to-day planning, and gaining a better understanding of ASES every day.

Qualifications are a headache

In workforce planning, employees are assigned to open positions, taking their qualifications into account. For PEP key users, however, working with these qualifications is not always straightforward, especially when the automatic learning feature adds to the confusion.

Import requirements

For production operations, new staffing requirements based on full capacity must be imported once a year for annual planning. This regularly leads to uncertainty during the preparation, execution, and verification of the import.

Through Managed Services, we support or take over recurring processes, whether key users feel unsure about them or need to be specifically relieved of that burden. This ensures that even thankless tasks are handled reliably and according to plan.

Those were just a few examples.
